Celebrate the beautiful culture of the islands throughout Spring with dance, song and hula performances at the Volcano Arts Centre and at Kuhio Beach Hula Mound. In March find locals arts and crafts in Kauai, and the 30th Honolulu Festival  emphasising harmony in the Pacific Rim. The Big Island Chocolate Festival tempts in April  and don’t miss the Kaua’i Songwriters Music Festival in May.

Honolulu Festival
March 14-15, 2026, Honolulu

30th Annual: Premier cultural event promoting mutual understanding, economic cooperation and ethnic harmony between the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim. Craft fairs and film feature among activities sponsored by the Honolulu Festival Foundation, showcasing the rich and vibrant blend of Asia, Pacific and Hawaiian cultures.

Hula Arts at Kilauea
Year round, Big Island

Catch performances and other arts and traditions of hula at the Volcano Art Center on the Kilauea volcano in a program of events promoting and perpetuating Native Hawaiian arts and culture. Free live hula performances on the second Saturday of the month.

Kona Reggae Festival
April 18, 2026, Oahu

2nd Annual: Bringing the island vibes back to Willie’s Hot Chicken for a night of soulful reggae rhythms, and unbeatable local company. Features The Steppas, Kona Town’s Finest, Tipsy, and DJ NTU on the decks.

Waikiki by Moonlight
To May 29, 2026, Oahu

Held at the Kuhio Beach Hula Mound, this production features traditional mele and hula performances, celebrating the Waikiki ahupua’a—a region cherished in many mo’olelo (stories) and historical accounts. Also, crafts, entertainment, and snacks.

Big Island Chocolate Festival
April 23 -25, 2026, Big Island

13th Annual: Presented by Kona Cacao, indulge at the chocolate farmers’ market, tour cacao farms, and taste the sweet tastes with chefs’ culinary demonstrations. Then celebrate chocolate at a festive evening gala with walkabout savory and sweet culinary booths, chocolate fountain, entertainment.

Maui Marathon & Half Marathon
April 27, 2025, Maui

56th Annual: Presented by The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, all events will start and finish in Ka’anapali from the exact location as in the past, in front of the Outrigger Ka’anapali Beach Resort. The Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K course will be an out-and-back on the Honoapiilani Hwy (Route 30).

Kaua’i Songwriters Music Festival
May 16, 2026, Kaua’i

5th Annual: Includes workshops for songwriters, and finishes with a concert open to the general public. Features world-renowned songwriters, producers, and performers from Hawai’i and the mainland.
