Small but beautifully formed with its curvaceous Palladian/Georgian architecture, World Heritage-listed Bath is easy to explore on foot. The Royal Crescent and the magnificent Circus are landmark attractions as well as handsome Palladian-style Pulteney Bridge.

The Roman Baths and Jane Austen vie for position as some of the most visited attractions. At the heart of the city the The Roman Baths  remain from 2,000 years ago when the Romans selected this special site in England, harnessing its natural thermal water for their spa baths. The Jane Austen Centre in Gay Street houses a permanent exhibition relating the writer’s time in Bath – here novels ‘Persuasion’ and ‘Northanger Abbey’ are partly set in Bath.
